Two Pie Day–first pie
Thursday was a two pie day. The twins came out of the oven and into my pie basket in Harlem and down the west side in a black car to Chelsea.
The first pie was invited to be part of a staff intervention by Elyse (her terminology–I prefer the term “yummy surprise”). There is an especially beautiful long table with benches situated in the sun-bathed back room of a certain gallery. Here, Michael, Elyse, Jim, Laurie, Jessica, Robert, Alisa, Chris and Adam joined me for pie. And we all took a moment to be, um, well I guess we all took a moment to be with the pie, which was still steamy and juicy. And finally the last piece went the the front desk to Ming, the intern.
I packed up my basket and took the second pie to my second pie meeting.
