I’m two weeks into this and everyone keeps asking me how many pies I’ve made. Honestly, I haven’t been counting. But I will now.
On Saturday, I used the last of the original 25 pounds I picked two weeks ago. The answer is 15 pies. That’s roughly 225 cherries a pie or 1.66 lbs of cherries per pie. Or roughly 3,375 cherries so far.
I have several more quarts of cherries in my fridge that I’ve bought in the local green markets. Probably enough to last til Saturday. Probably.
